What do you do when God gives you a vision—but it doesn't happen right away?
For Julieann Hartman, The Marriage Show began with a vision she received roughly 20 years before the show finally became a reality.
In this special episode, Butch and Julieann share the story behind the show, beginning with that moment in 2005 and the years of preparation that followed.
Along the way, they learned an important lesson: God's timing doesn't always look like ours.
They discuss the importance of writing down the vision God gives you, continuing to prepare even when you can't see how everything will come together, and trusting that sometimes you're simply not ready yet for what God has planned.
But there's another part of the story: Why marriage?
After more than 30 years together—and after walking through their own difficult seasons—Butch and Julieann began seeing just how many couples were quietly struggling. They wanted to create something that could provide biblical encouragement while still bringing plenty of laughter and fun along the way.
Twenty years later, that vision became The Marriage Show.
